The Moon blend contains a cornucopia of herbs traditionally used in magical ceremonies, including St. Johns Wart, Holy Basil, Motherwort, and Rose Petals. These herbs carry a longstanding tradition of being more mythical and were used by Native Americans to connect to the inner magic of plants and animals.

Also known as Lion’s Ear or Lion’s Tail, Motherwort is known to stimulate the heart and thin the blood. It is traditionally used to treat heart conditions, including heart failure, irregular heartbeat, fast heartbeat, and heart symptoms due to anxiety. This herb provides wonderful treatment for anxiety, calming both the body and mind. It has been used as a promoter for menstruation and an aide in childbirth because it encourages uterine contractions. But we don’t recommend smoking Bear Blend if you’re pregnant.

St. John’s Wort has a long history of medicinal use, going back to the days of Ancient Greece. It can help ease pain and stress associated with PMS and be highly effective at treating mild depression. Some research suggests the herb acts similar to an SSRI, increasing the brain chemicals serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine availability. It’s also been known to improve the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder. St. John’s Wort is an anti-inflammatory that also has anti-cancer properties.

Passion Flower has been used for thousands of years by Native Americans to treat anxiety. When smoked, it helps calm the mind and balance the mood. It’s great for sleep and can be used to ease the symptoms of withdrawal. 

Lavender contains chemical components such as linalool, linalyl acetate, and camphor that relieve anxiety and calm the mind. It is often used in inhalation therapies to treat headaches, nervous disorders, and exhaustion.

Long used as an aphrodisiac by Central American cultures, Damiana produces a heady, sexy smoke that’s highly relaxing, mood-restorative, and loin rejuvenating. It’s commonly used to treat such conditions as depression, anxiety, sexual inadequacy, debilitation, bed-wetting, menstrual irregularities, gastric ulcers, and constipation. Its sexual enhancing effect is attributed to the mechanism of action of compounds called flavonoids found in the Damiana leaf.
